PRIME price index
PRIME (Price Reference Index for Market Estimates) is a price reference for humanoid robots, calculated from real listings on MyUsedRobot.
How it is calculated
- The only source is published and sold listings on MyUsedRobot. Asking prices and final sale prices both count.
- Listings are grouped by brand, model, model year and country.
- Every price is converted to US dollars, so countries can be compared.
- Prices more than 20% above or below the group's median are set aside as outliers.
- The value is the median of the prices that remain, not the average.
- A group needs at least 5 listings after filtering before a value is shown. Values are recalculated every day.
Where you see it
PRIME appears on each listing page. When a model has at least 5 comparable listings, the page shows the reference value and whether the asking price is above or below it. With fewer listings, it shows that the index is still forming.
Manufacturer list prices
Prices announced by manufacturers for new units, taken from our robot catalog. They are not PRIME values and may differ from what dealers charge today.
