PRIME price index
PRIME (Price Reference Index for Market Estimates) is a price reference for humanoid robots, calculated from real listings on MyUsedRobot.
How it works
- The only source is listings on MyUsedRobot โ active ones and those marked as sold. PRIME uses the price shown in each listing, not a confirmed final transaction price.
- Listings are grouped by brand, model, model year and country.
- Prices stay in the currency of the listing's country, and each country has its own reference: exchange rates, import taxes and shipping change the final price in every market.
- Extreme prices are set aside, and the calculation is protected against manipulation: no single seller can set or move the value on their own.
- PRIME is a reference, not an appraisal or an offer. The exact parameters are internal and may be adjusted to keep the index reliable.
- When there are not yet enough comparable listings from different sellers, PRIME is shown as still forming. Values are updated regularly.
Where you see it
PRIME appears on each listing page. When there is enough comparable data, the page shows the reference value and whether the asking price is above or below it. Otherwise, it shows that the index is still forming.
Manufacturer list prices
Prices announced by manufacturers for new units, taken from our robot catalog. They are not PRIME values and may differ from what dealers charge today.
