🤖 MyUsedRobot is an independent, peer-to-peer marketplace for humanoid robots — both pre-owned units and unused stock. Alongside the marketplace we publish a price reference index and a news desk covering the humanoid robotics industry. The site is available in 14 languages and open to buyers and sellers worldwide.
Humanoid robots moved from research labs into commercial deployment faster than any secondary market formed around them. A buyer looking for a used Unitree, Agility or Figure unit has no equivalent of the used-car classifieds: no listings aggregator, no price history, no way to tell whether an asking price is reasonable. MyUsedRobot exists to fill that gap.
The platform is built around four things:
PRIME (Price Reference Index for Machine Equipment) is our attempt to give the humanoid robot market a public price signal. It aggregates asking prices from listings on the platform, manufacturer list prices where published, and prices reported in public sources such as company announcements and press coverage.
What PRIME is not: an appraisal, a valuation service, or a guarantee of what any specific unit will sell for. Condition, service history, included accessories, software licences and shipping all move real transaction prices well away from an index figure. Treat PRIME as a starting reference for a negotiation, not as a substitute for your own due diligence.
The index becomes more accurate as more listings pass through the platform. In its current stage the sample is small, and we would rather say so plainly than imply a precision the data does not support.
We publish this so readers can judge our news section on an informed basis.
Sourcing. Articles in the News section are based on publicly available reporting, company announcements, and regulatory filings. Where an article draws on a specific outlet's reporting, we summarise rather than reproduce, and we link to the original so credit and traffic go to the publisher who did the work.
AI assistance. We use AI tooling to help draft summaries from those sources. Every article is reviewed by a human before it is published — nothing goes live automatically. AI is a drafting aid here, not an autonomous publisher, and we take full responsibility for what appears under our name.
Images. We do not hotlink or republish third-party photographs. Article images are either licensed, supplied by the subject of the article, or generated by us. Each stored image carries its source and licence in our database.
Corrections. If we get something wrong, write to us and we will correct it and note the correction on the article. Accuracy matters more to us than looking right.
Independence. We do not accept payment for editorial coverage. If that ever changes, any paid placement will be labelled as such, clearly and on the item itself.
Being straightforward about this is part of being trustworthy, so: the platform is currently free to use, and it does not yet generate meaningful revenue. The intended model is a combination of marketplace fees on completed transactions, promoted listings, and advertising alongside the editorial content.
Where advertising appears, it will be visually distinct from editorial and marketplace content, and it will never determine what we cover or how we cover it.
The interface is available in 14 languages: English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Arabic, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. Prices can be displayed in a range of currencies.
The market for humanoid robots is genuinely global — manufacturing concentrated in China, the United States and South Korea, deployments across Europe and Asia — so a single-language platform would serve it badly.
MyUsedRobot is independently owned and operated from Brazil. It is a small operation, not a venture-backed newsroom, and we would rather you know that than assume otherwise. Formal operator identification, as required for users in Germany and the EU, is published in our Impressum.

Because we connect private parties rather than sell hardware ourselves, the responsibility for verifying a counterparty and a machine sits with you. We ask that you inspect before you pay, use traceable payment methods, be wary of any seller who pushes you off-platform or rushes a decision, and report anything that looks fraudulent so we can act on it.
Robots listed here are industrial and research equipment. Operating them carries real physical risk and, in many jurisdictions, regulatory obligations. Buyers are responsible for compliance in their own country, including import rules and any certification required before a machine is put to work.
