Accessibility Statement

Last updated: April 18, 2026 · Status: PARTIALLY CONFORMANT

🦾 MyUsedRobot.com is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually working to improve the user experience for everyone and to apply the relevant accessibility standards.

1. Conformance Standard

We aim for conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.2 AA defines requirements to make web content more accessible for users with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.

This Platform's current conformance status is partially conformant, meaning that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

2. Accessibility Features Implemented

The following accessibility measures are currently in place:

  • Keyboard navigation — all interactive elements (buttons, links, forms) are operable by keyboard.
  • Semantic HTML — pages use proper heading structure, landmarks (<nav>, <main>, <footer>), and form labels.
  • Responsive design — content adapts to mobile, tablet, and desktop viewports.
  • Color contrast — primary text and interactive elements meet WCAG AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text).
  • Alt text on content images — listing photos include descriptive alt attributes when provided by sellers.
  • Dark mode support — users sensitive to brightness can toggle a dark theme.
  • Language support — interface available in 7 languages (English, Portuguese, German, French, Chinese, Japanese, Korean) with proper lang attributes.
  • Reduced motion — decorative animations respect the prefers-reduced-motion media query.
  • Focus indicators — visible focus outlines on interactive elements.
  • Form validation — error messages are linked to the relevant fields and announced to assistive technology.
